Chicken in a Hawk Trap
Earlier today, Me and my mom were standing in the kitchen. We heard a strange "SQUAWK!!!" So, we went to investigate the odd sound, which was coming from the garage. Once there, we discovered one of our chickens, Cinnamon, tangled in some bird netting! The garage door was open, and a second chicken that was free, was just staring and cocking her head. Cinnamon worked desperately to free herself. She was going "Cluck, cluck, SQUAWK! Cluck, cluck, SQUAWK!" Her clucking quickly fell into a pattern. My mom sent me inside to get scissors to cut her loose, but when I came back, I watched as my mom finally untide the thrashing chicken. Cinnamon bolted out of the garage, casting backward glances, but still remained squawking. Haha! Poor Cinnamon. Those chickens have been through a lot. This was just the tip of the iceberg...
